- Selection Screen:
Selection-screen consists of the below inputs.
Shipping Point -> The Shipping Point for which the Capacity Load is being validated
Weekly Available Capacity (Hours) -> Weekly available capacity at the given Shipping Point in terms of manual hours to pack caps. By default it is 800 hours. User can change it according to his Shipping point capacity.
Max. Load(%) -> Cut-off Percentage load out of total available week capacity where the respective week will be high-lighted in Red if greater, Yellow if equal to and White if less that the input value. By default it is 80%. User can change it as per his convenience.
The estimated pack time for various orders calculated in the program pro-rated based on the table entries maintained in the custom table
ZTDC_PACK_TIME which consists of the pack time required for each individual in minutes (for 72 caps) for each pack type and by plant. Here we have P01, (Pack by SKU), P02 (Pack by Family), P19 (Mixed Pack), ZCL (Caselot Packing) and P00 (For all other pack types -> right now Cross-dock and PPP packing comes under this category).
For ex: in Plant 0110, to pack 72 caps of an order of type P01 (Pack by SKU), it will take 10 minutes for one individual.
Season -> Season which will be used to identify the list of weeks for which the capacity should be calculated and also for which the actual orders needs to be re-scheduled.
Only the seasons maintained in the list can be given as the inputs for the season field.
Give Shipping Point, Weekly Available Capacity (in Human Hours), Max Load in Percentage, Season and Execute.
- Capacity details per Period Screen:
Program gets the
Open Orders and
Open deliveries for the given plant, segregate the requirements by Selected Season Requirements, Program (All seasons other than STK and Selected Season), Non-Program (STK) & Total Hours required by Week as shown below. Those weeks with total capacity greater than the Max Load in the selection-screen will be highlighted in
Red. Those equal to that % will be in
Yellow and those below that will be in
White.
Note: Capacity will be shown from the week which the Season in selection-screen starts. But the Load will be shown combined for Orders & Deliveries from all seasons. However, only the orders from given season will be considered for re-scheduling in the final step.
Select the Weeks of interest and hit
“Cap. Details/period” in the Application Tool Bar.
- Capacity by Customer Screen:
Capacities details of selected weeks will be displayed in hierarchal view sorted by Priority, Customer Number, Week. For Deliveries the Req. Cat will be
“Delvry” and Orders will be shown with
“CustOrd”.
Select the required node of interest (probably the customer with less priority and high pack quantity) and select
“Mass Reschedule” Icon from Application Tool Bar.
- Information message showing only orders without deliveries can be re-scheduled:
Information will be displayed saying that only Sales Orders without Deliveries can be rescheduled. And accordingly only the Open Sales Orders will be selected for processing. Also we
don’t consider Orders for which ARUN is completed.
- Re-Scheduling Screen:
The Rescheduling screen consists to two halves. Left half
“Current Scheduled Week” shows the current requirements by week for the selected Nodes. Right half of the screen
“Rescheduled Week” shows the actual requirements by week for all the weeks in consideration (from Detailed Capacity Screen). This gives a clear picture to the User of how much actual Load is there in a given week and which weeks are having less load. Screen now also includes first few characters of the Customer as well for better decision taking.
- Drag & Drop the Open order to required day of selected week:
Now the user can identify a week with less load (say week 07/2012), expand the node to see the dates in that week. He can then drag the required Order from left panel onto the required date.
Save the changes and the program will go ahead and change the Schedule Line date to respective date for those Orders. The
Capacity by Customer Screen (Shown in Step 3) will be displayed with updated values.
- Any Errors or success messages can be seen in the Log:
Log of the orders successfully changed / Failed can be seen in a log screen as below
